Specialty Pharma:
Millions of people around the world are affected by rare or severe chronic diseases. Their medical treatment primarily requires individualized therapies with highly specialized medications or tailored patient-specific compounds. Growing demand for these specialty pharmaceuticals represents a significant expense for the healthcare system, because their development and compounding are time-consuming and cost-intensive. In addition, this group of patients is generally dependent on them over a longer time.
We were founded with the idea of recognizing the immense importance of Specialty Pharma and positioning ourselves as competent supplier of medicinal products and compounder of patient-specific therapies.
Our overarching goal is to make specialized medications and patient-specific therapies available to pharmacies, medical specialists, and hospitals as quickly, safely, and cost-effectively as possible. We do this based on our high-performance regional supply network, optimized knowledge transfer with all partners, and modern technical equipment.
Our experience and competence in Specialty Pharma has enabled us to become the market leader in Germany in this sector within just a few years.
Building on this success, we intend to keep developing our business and set our sights on ambitious new goals. For our focused strategic development, we need a vision and a mission, which in combination with our corporate values gives us clear guidance on how to act every day.

We at Medios have set ourselves the goal of enabling the most innovative tailored therapies for everybody, because we want to make a significant contribution towards improving people’s health and quality of life around the world.
We are convinced that everyone, regardless of where they live and what their personal circumstances are, should have access to the latest treatments and therapies. This applies particularly to patients with rare or chronic diseases that require cost-intensive patient-specific therapies with specialized medications.
Our experience in the supply of Specialty Pharma has shown that innovative therapies are economically viable – and thus can be made available to more people – if they are provided with utmost efficiency and use targeted. Our intention is therefore to be an innovation partner, and we are passionate advocates of further progress in individualized medicine. It is a transformation from mass medicine to focus more on the diagnosis and medication of each individual patient based on their personal disease history and constitution.

Looking further ahead, we believe this will foster the international and interdisciplinary development of new, economically viable solutions for providing innovative therapies for everyone. In developing this platform, we are of course supported by our existing strong partnership network in Germany, which we are currently expanding to other European countries.
