Founded in Berlin in 2015
We at Medios are aware of the urgency of patient care with specialty pharmaceuticals and are making our special contribution to help shape the future of individualized medicine for all of us.
Our aim is to improve care structures by creating a platform that in the future will enable all patients throughout Europe to obtain tailored therapies. Medios was founded with the goal of making the supply of specialized medications for complex diseases simpler and more economical across a range of indications.
As a supplier of medicinal products and reliable compounder of patient-specific therapies, we make a special contribution to ensure patient care and are now the market leader in the Specialty Pharma sector in Germany. Our sophisticated storage and supply ensure that specialized pharmacies, as well as medical specialists and hospitals, can depend on receiving the essential compounds they need for their patients as quickly as possible, even in an emergency.
Our compounding includes cutting-edge cleanrooms of classes A–D to provide ready-to-use therapies tailored to individual patients from approved pharmaceutical products in accordance with the international standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). We focus on the therapeutic areas of oncology, autoimmune diseases, ophthalmology, neurology, and hemophilia. We compound cytostatic preparations, antibody solutions, and parenteral nutrient solutions and offer patient-specific blistering for optimized medication management.
Support for clinical trials is another of our key areas. We have a wide range of permits to compound both sterile and non-sterile investigational medicinal products. Employees with first-class training, certified quality management, and temperature-controlled storage and supply from –80 °C to +25 °C (–112 °F to 77 °F) guarantee highest quality and safety standards with the greatest flexibility. We are present throughout Germany, with seven manufacturing sites and four pharmaceutical supply centers at nine locations.
